Cooper puts the finishing touch on his house
And the masterpieces are unveiled.
Grandma Patti made gingerbread houses for all the cousins to decorate when we got together for Christmas. The kids had fun getting creative with them. It was cute seeing them all work together. Cooper has been eating his ever since. :)
Welcome to our family blog. We are glad to be able to share the events in our lives with you. We hope this will be an easy way to keep everyone updated and enjoy being able to share with you.

Merry Christmas Pictures
Let the holiday celebrating begin! On Christmas Eve Cameron, Cooper & I drove to Aunt Becky's house to celebrate Christmas with my family. It was so nice getting the boys together with their cousins and to have us girls all together. The kids played and we ate good food.

That night Cameron & Cooper prepared for Santa Clause by leaving him his milk and cookies with a sweet note.
A quick picture
or two
We woke up early (well Cameron was up at 5, but waited for us all to wake around 6) and present opening began. Everyone was so excited and loved all their gifts.
The pogo sticks from Santa were a big hit. Harder than the boys thought they'd be but they are getting it.
A quick pose with mom
These dart guns are another favorite. They have been having a blast (get it, hehe) with these!
It was a day of lounging and letting the kids go crazy with all their new stuff. Grandma Sylvia came up and enjoyed Christmas dinner with us. What a great holiday season (is it over yet?) Merry Christmas Everyone!

Adorable
The preschools in our area don't focus on academics, in fact they don't do any academics. Cooper spends his days at school playing with friends, gardening and baking. This is why my heart was to touched when he decided to sign and address his teacher's Christmas cards. We often do workbook pages while Cameron does his homework. I guess I had no idea how well he was picking-up his letters. Now that's ADORABLE!

10 Year Wedding Anniversary
For our 10yr wedding anniversary we decided to have some family pictures taken. It was cool because we used the same photographer that took our engagement, wedding and pregnancy pictures. We went with the grape vineyard theme as we do live in Sonoma County. You always have these visions of pictures like this turning out so perfect, overall we were happy with them - after all we are trying to get 5 people looking good in a shot. It was fun getting everyone dressed up and posing together. The outcome of the wedding 10-16-99!
(Cooper is offering grapes in his picture - so cute!)

Another Year Older
My birthday was yesterday. See the thing is once Eddie has his birthday in June, he automatically ages me up a year so by the time my real birthday does roll around I pretty much have myself convinced I am already that age. Makes it a little easier to swallow. But really I'm happy to celebrate my birthday, yeah getting old sucks but we all do it and at least you get spoiled for a day. Eddie & I went to an indoor cart racing place nearby. It's so cool. The cars go 45mph and it really takes a lot out of you to race around the track for 14 laps. It was a kick in the ass, we can't wait to do it again. Grandma Patti showed up in the evening with a surprise birthday cake for me. It was sooo yummy...in fact I just took a break from this post and went and ate a piece. It was a great birthday.. :)
Geared up and ready to race!
Yeah, I started in front but didn't last there long.
The beautiful cake my mom brought.

Tree Time
It was pouring rain yesterday which seemed like a great time to be indoors decorating our Christmas tree, so we bundled up and headed to the tree farm. We were excited to see Santa when we pulled-up. The boys swore they had been good all year and deserved lots of toys.
We got our saw and headed out in search of the perfect tree.
Stopped for a pose with Dad & Mom.
The boys got to help wrap the tree and load it in the truck. We didn't get the hay ride this year due to the weather, but had a great trip to the tree farm.

Happy (Late) Turkey Day
Thought I'd better post these Thanksgiving pix before Christmas is upon us. We stuck with our tradition this year of spending the holiday camping with our friends' the Kenzy family. It's always a blast, lots of riding, laughing around the campfire and hanging with the family.
We started the day getting the turkey on the BBQ. Eddie did a great job cooking, it was yummy!
The kids enjoyed watching the tractor work on the track.
Now just because we are camping, Thanksgiving just wouldn't be complete without football. (Oh, that reminds me I think we still owe Troy the money we lost on the football pool.)
We spent lots of time "driving" the rhino.
Then daddy took the boys on a ride.
Billy was off work and able to come up for one night. We got to go on a great ride. FUN FUN
Even Grandma Sylvia made it up to have dinner with us.
Billy, Cameron & Cooper did a great job burning off their turkey dinner.
Now what, we have only like 21 days until Christmas. Well...in some ways it can't come (and go) soon enough. We also have 2 birthdays to celebrate in December. Should be a crazy month :)

Happy Birthday Cameron
Cameron celebrated his 8th Birthday the day after Thanksgiving. We were still up camping and he had loads of fun.
Started with presents. He was stoked when he saw this zip-line. He's been asking for one for a while now. Now Eddie & I just need to figure out where/how to set it up.
He was wishing this cute little puppy was his, but we aren't that crazy. Our friends have 9 pit-bull puppies 2 weeks old. And yes, they are adorable but they grow up to be pit-bulls and I just can't go there.
Cameron got to take a rhino ride with Dad on our friends rhino. He got to drive down the river bed. He loved it. Now that is what he wants his present to be.
Since Cooper & I didn't fit on the rhino, Cameron took us 4-wheelin on the golf cart in the creek.
Cameron had a fun birthday. HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY CAMERON!!
