Cameron had a music performance at the high school last night. They (the 1st graders) sang "Head, Shoulder, Knees & Feet" in English, Spanish & French. Quite impressive! He liked going up on that stage.
He's the cute one in the middle :)

ChooChoo
We spent the day at the Railroad Museum in Sacramento with Aunite Becky & Cousin Ethan. We toured all sorts of old trains - it was amazing how many trains were in this museum. The kids loved running around and climbing in the train cars. Here are Cameron & Cooper hoping to not get run over by the huge train coming down the tracks.
In one of the cars.
Who knew we were old railroad family?

Inauguration '09
In honor of the Inauguration Cameron's class dressed in red, white & blue. Cooper decided to wear his blue "dress up" dockers and his red Petal, MS. shirt - to honor the Petal Band, Billy's old band from MS, who is playing the the Inauguration Parade today. How cool is that?! I wish Billy were there!

Dad & Boys
Beach or Bust
Playing around
Elephant Seal napping on the beach
Cooper asked "how'd the tractor get off the beach without a tire", Cameron tried to explain it washed up from a ship.
Time for some lunch. We found an Oysters in the 1/2 Shell Shack on the side of the road, but the kids opted for hot dog's and grilled cheese.
We spent Sunday at Point Reyes Beach (well, after our 1 hour detour when we realized we had no gas only to find out we had been less than a mile from a gas station...arrggh). It was beautiful. We ate lunch along the way and played at the beach. We had set out to tour a nearby lighthouse but found out due to whale watching season, a busy 3 day weekend is the wrong time to do that. Instead we walked the beach and enjoyed the waves.

In the bowl
Heading into the skate park to try out the boards for the first time.
Both of them in the bowl.
We hooked up with some of Cameron's friends and hit the skate park after school on Wednesday. It was their first time skateboarding. They are both getting the hang of it. Even some of the older kids at the park will stop and give some pointers. They were loving it and we went again yesterday after school and are headed there again this morning (once all the frost melts).

We found snow
Our friends daughter Shelby took the kids on a ride where we discovered snow. It was Cooper's first snow. The mountain in the background was beautiful with the snow cover.
Our attempt at a snowman...we called it a snowblob.
Seeing how far down the hill we could throw. I was getting a bit nervous one of them were gonna end up going down.
They were trying to peg me...good thing I had the better aim.
