Our campsite was far from the boat dock, so Eddie skateboarded the cooler down there. It was a hit with all the passer-bye's.
We saw these 2 bald eagles along the shore.
We went camping this past weekend. It was about 100 out so perfect for lounging in the lake. This picture with Billy was from a quick day trip a few weekends ago. He has to work weekends so makes camping with us about impossible. We hope to sneak in a few more trips before school starts. Geez...it's sneaking up on us only a few more weeks.
Welcome to our family blog. We are glad to be able to share the events in our lives with you. We hope this will be an easy way to keep everyone updated and enjoy being able to share with you.

Cooper swimming
Cooper has been really practicing his swimming and couldn't wait to show off his new skills. He loves "diving" down to get the rings and swimming back and forth off the stairs. Oh yeah...I'm pretty proud of myself for learning how to post the video, now maybe I can go back and find that riding video I wanted to post in the Spring.

Our next adventure
We have been spending a lot of time swimming this summer. We go almost every day even if we can't stay long. The boys love it (we've even gotten Billy to come a couple of times now that he is car-less). Cooper has been swimming more and more without his float and Cameron has been working on his diving.
We usually hang out in the kiddie pool, which we call a hot tub, to play catch and other games
Floating
Run & Jump
Cannon ball with a twist
Cooper's cannon ball

How cool!
Cameron thought it was super cool that his dad was working at his school. He is working in classrooms that are potentially Cameron's because at year end they were 2nd grade classes. So with that, the boys and I heated Eddie up some left-overs and went to see him at work and bring him lunch. It was cool for the boys to visit him working at Cameron's school (that was the first time we had been back there since school got out in June). We sat with him while he ate, then we were on to our next adventure.
They wanted to wheel around with dad on the scaffold but we could barely breath in there with all the tile dust.
Having lunch with dad at work/school.

Delta KOA
A few weeks ago we made a quick trip to the Delta KOA. Boating on the delta is so much different from the lake. You have to have a map to navigate and we still ended up getting lost. The boats you see along the delta are unreal!
No recession at the delta. This was just one of many boats this size we saw.
This huge jumping pillow was so fun (and quite a workout). We could catch some great air.
Hanging out in the camper.
Look, no hands.
Of course they had to try surfing on the thing.
Cameron loved that a tractor had to launch our boat for us.
The guy realized how much he loved tractors and let him take it for a spin.
This was our best laugh, we forgot propane and the store was not close by any means. Eddie rode Cameron's bike all the way there. It was funny to watch him on that little thing. His knees were killing him when he returned!

Just Playing Around
We had a visit from my sister Amy and niece Caitlyn for a few days. The kids had a blast playing with their cousin. It was great to spend time with the two of them. Even though they only live 2 1/2 hrs away it's hard to find time to make the trip.
Cameron found his favorite thing at the park, this huge tractor arm he got to move dirt around with.
Cooper enjoying his pony ride.
Train ride. Cooper kept asking where the animals were, I think he was confused with the train we always rode at the Hattiesburg Zoo.
Ride 'em cowboys & cowgirl
Cameron giving the golf cart tour.
Wagon rides instead of hay rides.

On a lighter note..
A nice 2nd story dive off the top of the houseboat
I got brave enough to go down the slide - actually I made a deal with Cooper that if I went down the slide he would try to ski. I realized I liked the slide and went a few times.
Yay Cameron! His first ski. Eddie wasn't happy with me, I was supposed to be driving the boat not taking pictures but I had to get this shot.
Cooper trying to hold up his end of the deal but decided against it. Maybe next time.
A nice evening swim with almost a full moon to light up the lake.
We were at Lake Berryessa for the 4th. It was a nice time. Our friend (you know Crazy Irv) let us use the houseboat. He had even installed a movie projector and large screen on the top of the boat so we at a night movie outside complete with popcorn and blankets. The boys were pretty impressed. We didn't have any fireworks - they aren't allowed at the lake - but we had an exciting time :)

Thank God he survived!
Billy was in a horrible accident on 4th of July night. We are thanking God that he and his friends walked away from this wreck. It is a miracle, someone must have been watching over him. I told him he got a second chance at life, I hope he makes the best of it!
I can't wait till the car is out of our driveway, it's hard to look at. :(

Walkin on water
Dad playing with the boys - yes that is Billy in the background, amazing huh!?
Cameron attempting to walk on water
Billy considering a jump - Cameron down below egging him on
All our boys....together!
We went to a swim party at our friend house last weekend. Amazingly Billy even showed up. There were lot's of kids there, they were lined up to attempt the "walk on water" trick. It was a hit. We had fun hanging with everyone and enjoyed having Billy there.

Hats -n- Spiderman
A boy who wears many hats..
Webbing you..
Cooper loves to have his own style. The other day we had to run to the bank then to swim lessons. Cooper went in this full Spiderman costume, he even added ear muffs in case he got cold. I thought they might think it was some plan I had to rob the bank but we left without incident. We then headed to the pool. He was a hit everywhere. A few days later on the way to lessons, he decided to wear 4 hats. We stopped at the hardware store first and he got several comments there and at the pool about all his hats. He is such a character. :)
