A few week back we went camping & riding for the weekend. One of Eddie's high school friends drove up from San Diego to camp with us. We hadn't seen him in 5 years and our friend Troy hadn't seem him in like 15 years. The guys had a great time riding and catching up. It was Troy's birthday and we all had fun celebrating. The creeks were so full from all the rain we have been getting the boys couldn't cross and were stuck on the kids track all weekend. I was barely able to cross but made it and was able to go on a few rides. The kids and I went on some great hikes along the creek and they had a ball playing with some of the other kids that were camping with us.
Trying to keep his boots dry for the long ride ahead.

As promised...
Our friend's Joey & Michelle following us up the trail
Troy & Dina crossing the creek on this cool bridge
Following Troy down a trail, Joey waiting @ the bottom
Mapping the route
Attempting the climb (notice I'm taking the picture, we aren't in the jeep)
Like I promised more wheeling pictures. We had a great time - had 2 another couples with us and a friend following on a dirt bike for part of the day. Wheeling is definitely a sport you want to do with other people as getting lost or stuck is always a possibility. In fact despite the picture of them mapping our route we somehow ended up on a trail we thought would take 1/2 hr and it took us 2 1/2 hrs. Luckily our friend in the truck had brought some extra gas with him or we would have been in trouble. It was a great time even getting home @ 10pm on a Sunday night with school & work the next day. arrgghh

A trip to Roseville
oh...o.k. I guess this one will be big enough
Grandma Patti with the Grandkids before starting 6 months of chemo
The kids
Having fun
We all got together the day before my mom went into the hospital to begin 6 months of chemo to kick the cancer's ass in her lungs. We hung out and let the kids all play, ate pizza and had a nice visit. Now...go get healthy grandma.

Cooper's ride
Damn it. I finally find a minute to sit here and post Cooper's first ride without training wheels and for some reason my cool video won't load. So I have given up for now and decided to post the pictures instead, which are very cool too. GO COOPER!
Dad & the boys removing the training wheels
Away he goes
Dad making sure he's got it.
Oh yeah.....he's got it, already standing up!
Supercross here he comes :)
