More Winter Break Fun

More goofing around over Christmas break.....
Getting wild at Circus Circus
Watching a show with dad
Mom trying to dance
a killer hike at Armstrong Woods
and a little bowling.
Now, its back to the grind...how many more days till Spring break???

Winter Break Fun

I love being off for 2 weeks when the kids are off of school. We managed to keep ourselves very busy and had loads of fun. We were lucky enough to spend a few day skiing in Tahoe. We stayed in Reno this time which isn't our favorite place but cheap and lots of fun. Circus Circus knows how to keep kids entertained. Reno also works good because it's close to our favorite ski spot Mt. Rose. I really have to step up my ski game my kids are about as good as me at this point.

Me working on getting down the mountain as graceful as possible...I'm a work in progress with my skiing...

Eddie shredding down the mountain...he on the other hand is a natural

Cooper and Eddie riding up for Coopers first run down the blue run. He and Cameron love it! We love being able to all go together.

Cameron warming up with some hot chocolate - a must when you are skiing :)

Happy New Year

Happy 2011!
Cameron wore the perfect shirt to dinner
Showing off their works of art
A happy pose - before we got the bill from our waaayy over priced New Year's dinner. Next year we're cooking!
Happy 2011 everyone!

Now that's a reaction

We all know it's better to give to receive, I mean what makes you feel better than giving someone that "perfect" gift. Grandma Sylvia got sooo excited when she opened her Christmas present. The look on her face is awesome. It even brought tears to her eyes. Now that's what I'm talking about! :)

Here comes Santa

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. We had a happy one over here. It was low key. Grandma Sylvia came up and we cooked a nice Christmas lunch. We stayed inside (it was a rainy day) and played with all of our new toys.
The boys made some adorable & yummy cookies for Santa.
Ready for bed, excited for the morning.
A natural on his new guitar.
Cooper was so happy Santa finally brought him a marshmallow gun. He had been asking for a couple of years now. He has a system down and freezes his mallows for optimum distance.
Merry (late) Christmas everyone!

Happy Birthday...

...to me
Enjoying a nice birthday dinner. The kids loved watching the food being cooked right in front of us. It was so yummy.
...to Billy
Billy turned 19 on the 18th. He had a great time going out with his friends. I was able to steal a few moments with him to sing happy birthday and eat cake.
