No more crying here

Well, we didn't mope too long about school being over.  The next day the boys and I went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.  We checked out their new show Cirque Dreams Splashtastic which was pretty impressive.  Cooper made us sit in the front row so we even got splashed by the dolphins.
We ran into this guy right when we got there.

We aren't big ride people - and this place has a bunch of big roller coasters and stuff - we spent most of the day checking out all the animals.

We did hit one ride - the river rapids.  We got soaked!
Not sure why Cameron has the long face - he was looking forward to this bag of kettle corn all day and was stoked when we got it - actually I think he has a mouthful.  In fact we still have a bunch of it sitting in the kitchen yum.

It was a great start to what we know will be a great summer!

Oh this looks like fun...I love the animals. I went to the San Francisco Zoo for my very first time since moving to CA in 1977. I went with Maris (16 mths old), Lauri and Gary...It was a great Monday until I got home and had received a call from Sean at work to see if I could close for him...3-9...I did!
The Zoo was awesome and my favorite was the male gorilla and the baby giraffe. Maris' eyes were big as saucer's when she saw the giraffe for the very first time in real life...in her life. I am happy you guys are off to a great start! Love, G'ma S
