Beach Hike

Yippee! we found a new trail to hike down the the beach.  We made a quick run out to Doran Beach on Monday (love 3 day weekends!) and hiked a new trail we had discovered the last time we were out there.  A little beach "selfie"
 A great little hike
 we found water
 woohoo…..let's play

the tide was really high which didn't leave much beach to play on - and Roxy let the waves steal her ball after the 3rd throw.  So what!! we made the best of it and had fun climbing rocks and playing in the sand.  Always love discovering new places to hike!

Nice work!

Cooper made this awesome diorama of the Miwok Indians.  Well, actually Cooper, Eddie and I made this awesome diorama lol…
Really he did a lot of the work on it, even making the little people.  It had to be made from mostly natural materials and just stuff from around the house.  (I guess that was a new rule because I remember Cameron's being this nice little family, fire and teepee we bought at Michaels crafts haha)
Good Job Cooper!

What are the chances of that??

Basketball, Basketball & More Basketball
The boys basketball season is quickly coming to a close.  Only two more weekends left.  It will be awesome to sleep in at least once on the weekend.  We have been having to be on the court early and often both Sat & Sun.  Ugh….I need to not rush out of the house every now & then.
Cooper has some pretty awesome dribbling skills!

And Cameron is the rebound guy!

So just so happens we had a game in Sonoma last Sunday.  It was my nephew Ethan's birthday and when I talked to my sister on Saturday she mentioned they were going to Sonoma on Sunday to see the Sonoma Mission & some general's house.  Well I said "hey we are going to be in Sonoma on Sunday" - so I roped them into coming to Cameron's game and then we had a nice lunch to celebrate the birthday boy.  (thank you Mike)
see there we are at the game
Happy Birthday Ethan!
Kind of cool that it worked out that way.  What are the chances?

YAY Cameron!

Middle School is the first time kids (around here) receive a letter grade.  The good old A-F.  It can be a lot of pressure adjusting to having their work graded that way.  Cameron seems to have made the adjustment beautifully!  He came home with a 3.82gpa on his first semester report card!
WOO HOO CAMERON!  We were a couple of proud parents sitting at that assembly!
