What are the chances of that??

Basketball, Basketball & More Basketball
The boys basketball season is quickly coming to a close.  Only two more weekends left.  It will be awesome to sleep in at least once on the weekend.  We have been having to be on the court early and often both Sat & Sun.  Ugh….I need to not rush out of the house every now & then.
Cooper has some pretty awesome dribbling skills!

And Cameron is the rebound guy!

So just so happens we had a game in Sonoma last Sunday.  It was my nephew Ethan's birthday and when I talked to my sister on Saturday she mentioned they were going to Sonoma on Sunday to see the Sonoma Mission & some general's house.  Well I said "hey we are going to be in Sonoma on Sunday" - so I roped them into coming to Cameron's game and then we had a nice lunch to celebrate the birthday boy.  (thank you Mike)
see there we are at the game
Happy Birthday Ethan!
Kind of cool that it worked out that way.  What are the chances?

Lake Folsom

We love to squeeze in a Lake Folsom trip once over every summer.  It's a great lake and close to the boys cousins so it's a perfect opportunity for everyone to get together.  Well, try to get together at least.  We made it up there last minute and Caitlyn already had plans so we didn't get to hang out :(, but Ethan was ready for some fun!
A little action on the tube...
Told you Cooper is always finding good jumping spots - a little front flip action
 Cooper getting some air
 Cameron gets after it
We even got Becky to give it a try.  She did awesome!
It was great sitting back and watching them play on the beach.  So sweet.
All the lakes around here are so low this year.  Normally the water is up to the tree line.  We normally anchor out and stand in the water on those rocks in the background.  (If you have a great memory and an interest in this blog you may remember that from posts in the previous years.  I think I always call them shelves - well now I will refer to them as rocks I guess ;-)  )
I told the boys not to complain this winter when it's raining we need it!
I can't believe we got Becky out with us twice this summer!  That is for sure a record.  WooHoo!
