VBS

I guess summer isn't complete without spending a week @ Vacation Bible School. My sister & I used to go every year in Florida when we were at my dad's house, we both have many memories there. Anyway Cooper has spent this past week at VBS. He says, "I like it. I like the coloring." - It came in very handy as Cameron has been on the couch since last Thursday night with pneumonia. Poor guy has been so sick. We have made 3 trips to the doctor and finally yesterday he was put on new medications and seeming better today. It has been a rough 7days and we are all ready for him to feel better. So VBS saved Cooper this week, there are only so many movies you can sit through and so many obstacle courses you can design with couch cushions before you start to go stir crazy. Cooper decided he will go back next summer with Cameron, so at least it got him to try something new. :-)

Lake Fun

We went to lake for a couple of days. Jeez it had been since last year 4th of July we had used our boat. It felt so good to get back on the water. We had great weather & a flat lake. Made for some good boating and lots of fun.

Happy Birthday Eddie

Eddie's b/d was 6/7 - OK, so I'm a little late with this one. It was a low key day but we did get to go out to dinner to one of our favorite places. The kids spoiled him with some great gifts and funny birthday cards.

Memorial Day Fun

Amazingly the sun came out long enough for the boys to enjoy some Memorial Day fun. It's like riding a bike, they jumped right in and swam all over the place.

WOW....he wasn't expecting to catch quite so much air. That slide was high.
Cameron loved it and went several times.
Where were we? Relaxing, having a Corona with our jackets on! It's great to be a kid!

Before & After

We've been busy around here! We have been wanting a new porch since before Cameron was born and were finally ready to make it happen. It was a long process due to several rain days but it is finally done and looks awesome. We took tons of pictures throughout the process and the transformation has been amazing.

Here is a before shot of the whole house. Cameron was so excited he got to pull all the rock out with the tractor.
